Sirin · Grace stealth shell
Overview
Sirin (formerly known as Feysub/Feykin) is a Grace-based Pact built around stealth, deception, and precision strikes. Glamour provides a cloaking ability for repositioning or backstabs, Trick of the Light deploys a decoy that attracts and damages enemies, and Picktrix Powder blinds and debuffs enemies. The Grace Virtue increases damage with Grace-attuned weapons including Dewelion and Navalha.
This build excels against single high-value targets — elite enemies and bosses where you can plan an approach, debuff, and land a clean backstab. It is less suited to open-world packs or prolonged sustain fights. If you enjoy a methodical, predator-style play pattern rather than face-tanking, Sirin Grace is a strong choice. The Shrouded passive (see enemies through walls in Spectral Sight) lets you scout rooms before committing, making it one of the safest builds for learning boss attack patterns.
- Pact: Sirin
- Virtue: Grace (invest all points here)
- Playstyle: Reactive, mobility-focused, backstab and precision
- Best for: Boss fights, elite hunting, solo endgame exploration
Core loadout
Weapons
- Dewelion — Grace and Spirit attuned. Drops from the Mendicant King / Castellan Malrog in Fort Karnhold. Strongest Grace melee weapon currently available.
- Navalha — Grace-attuned Rapier. Obtained by completing The Wreck of Mestra Carmo fable. Uses the Rapier moveset introduced in Preludes 14.
- Thistle — starter Bow for Grace builds. Useful as a sidearm for range before Navalha is available.
- Nettle — Grace-attuned Short Blade sidearm. High attack speed, useful for close-range parry windows.
Arcanics
- Glamour (Grace) — Cloaks the Envoy, allowing repositioning or backstab attacks. The core enabler of this build — every engagement should start from cloak.
- Trick of the Light (Spirit) — Deploys a decoy that draws fire and explodes when enemies get close. Use as an escape tool when cloak is on cooldown, or pre-place before a backstab to pull adds away.
- Picktrix Powder (Courage) — Blinds enemies and debuffs their Stagger resistance. Always apply before engaging a boss or elite to maximise your damage window.
Armor — Cassid set (light)
| Slot | Piece | Note |
|------|-------|------|
| Head | Cassid Hood | Grace scaling for Dewelion / Navalha |
| Chest | Cassid Tunic | Light armor for dodge mobility |
| Arms | Cassid Bracers | — |
| Legs | Cassid Leggings | Light armor for mobility |
Runes & Totems
- Rune of Grace (weapon) — Maximise Dewelion and Navalha output.
- Rune of Precision (weapon) — Backstab crit synergy.
- Totem of the Owl — Increases detection range in Spectral Sight, helping you plan approach routes through walls.
How to play it
Opening rotation
- Scout with Shrouded — Use Spectral Sight to spot enemies through walls and identify the highest-value target.
- Picktrix Powder — Apply the Stagger debuff to your primary target (and nearby enemies if grouped).
- Glamour — Activate cloak and reposition to the target's flank or rear.
- Backstab — Heavy attack with Dewelion from stealth for maximum opening damage.
- Trick of the Light — Deploy decoy if adds swarm; use the distraction to disengage or reposition.
- Repeat — Re-cloak when Glamour is available and cycle back to step 3.
Key principles
- Use Glamour to reposition, not to tank — cloak duration is limited; use it to move to an enemy's flank or rear before attacking, not to ignore incoming damage
- Picktrix Powder before engaging groups — the Stagger debuff significantly increases your damage window against multiple enemies
- Prioritise Grace attunement — Dewelion and Navalha both require Grace investment; all Virtue points into Grace maximises damage
- Shrouded passive — allows you to see enemies through walls in Spectral Sight; use this to plan approach before engaging
Common mistakes
- Treating Glamour as invincibility — cloak breaks on attack and has a short duration. If you activate it while already targeted, enemies may still track you.
- Face-tanking groups — this build has no sustain tools. If you pull more than 2–3 enemies without a decoy plan, disengage and reset. For AoE-heavy encounters, see Ode Tempest melee.
- Skipping Picktrix on bosses — the Stagger debuff is the difference between a one-cycle kill and a prolonged fight. Always open with it.
Optional: Duelo synergy
If also running the Duelo Pact, the Chamariz passive (Perfect Dodge leaves a clone that draws aggro) synergises well with Sirin's stealth approach — enemies targeting the clone are vulnerable to backstabs. This is community-reported and not fully verified in Preludes 15; confirm in your client.
When to use a different build
- AoE-heavy dungeon encounters — this build is primarily single-target; Ode Tempest or Garren Rood handle grouped enemies more efficiently. For a Sirin variant with better group clear, consider Sirin ranged Grace which uses Thistle bow for Arrow Hail AoE.
- Long sustained fights — sustain is low without Elderbloom; bring Garren Rood Magick Spirit for encounters requiring prolonged life drain.
- Prefer Courage over Grace — if you want Sirin's kit but with Courage scaling for different weapons, see Sirin melee Courage.
FAQ
- Is this build verified? Community-sourced and cross-referenced with in-game pact data. Confirm damage windows and Temper routes in your client after patches — Sirin stealth interactions may shift with balance updates.
- Grace vs Courage on Sirin? This shell invests all points in Grace for Dewelion and Navalha scaling. If you prefer Courage-scaling weapons or a more aggressive frontline playstyle, see Sirin melee Courage.
- Can I use this build for overworld farming? It works but is slower than AoE builds — every kill requires setup. For general clearing, Sirin ranged Grace or Ode Tempest are more efficient.
- Best totem for this build? Totem of the Owl extends Spectral Sight detection range, which directly helps with the scouting phase. Alternatives like Totem of the Stag (dodge window) can work if you prefer a more reactive playstyle.
